Amendment XI:

"The judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by citizens of another state, or by citizens or subjects of any foreign state."

If you're like me you're probably like what????? Well this amendment says that a citizen of one state cannot sue another state.

I chose the website to help explain the case that was related to this amendment and also explain the amendment more. Below you see a picture I chose to go along with the amendment wrote out plain and simple stating again that a person cannot sue the state.
