Amendment XVIII:

Section 1.

After one year from the ratification of this article the manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors within, the importation thereof into, or the exportation thereof from the United States and all territory subject to the jurisdiction thereof for beverage purposes is hereby prohibited.
Section 2.
The Congress and the several states shall have concurrent power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
Section 3.
This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of the several states, as provided in the Constitution, within seven years from the date of the submission hereof to the states by the Congress.

THE BANNING OF ALCOHOL!!!! This amendment as stated in section one banned alcohol from coming into the United States and being sold. Moving on to section two is helps congress to be able to pass laws to keep alcohol from being sold illegally and then once you get to section three and it says that the amendment must be ratified in seven years or it does not stand. But guess what!!!! THIS AMENDMENT WAS THE ONLY AMENDMENT TO BE REPEALED FROM THE CONSTITUTION AND WE AS AMERICANS HAVE THE PLEASURE TO ENJOY ALCOHOL LEGALLY AT THE AGE OF 21! 😁

The picture of the guy being kicked out was to represent this amendment being repealed. "kicked to the curb"

During the time of having the 18th amendment people referred to this period as the "Prohibition" so this picture was chosen as a headliner to show when it made the newspaper after ending.
